Elle peint des paysages en se situant sur une ligne d\u00e9licate entre figuration et abstraction. Ses peintures traduisent le mouvement du paysage, elles incitent \u00e0 la travers\u00e9e plut\u00f4t qu\u2019\u00e0 la contemplation. Pour y parvenir, l\u2019artiste s\u2019est constitu\u00e9 un r\u00e9pertoire d\u2019outils peu acad\u00e9miques dont les qualit\u00e9s intrins\u00e8ques lui permettent de traduire, sur la toile, les contours incertains de paysages qu\u2019elle d\u00e9couvre le plus souvent dans des films de promotion touristique. Spatule, platoir, paille de fer, \u00e9ponge ou pi\u00e8ce de tissu sont associ\u00e9s \u00e0 une chor\u00e9graphie de gestes propre \u00e0 l\u2019artiste pour d\u00e9poser la peinture sur la toile.\u00a0<br><br>Pour l\u2019exposition \u00e0 la Maison des arts, Marine Wallon a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 un ensemble d&rsquo;\u0153uvres nouvelles, notamment la s\u00e9rie <em>Lontananza <\/em>qui s\u2019inspire du ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de la <em>fata morgana<\/em>, mirage optique cr\u00e9\u00e9 par une perturbation de la lumi\u00e8re dans l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re. Pour le diptyque <em>Zanatenco<\/em>, elle pousse encore plus loin la description de paysages indicibles, r\u00e9duits \u00e0 des t\u00e2ches lumineuses et color\u00e9es, r\u00e9alis\u00e9es par empreinte, comme lorsque la lumi\u00e8re traverse le feuillage d\u2019un \u00e9pais sous-bois.\u00a0<br><br>Enfin, l\u2019exposition est l\u2019occasion pour l\u2019artiste de d\u00e9voiler deux films. Avec <em>\u00c9tincelles Grillons<\/em>, inspir\u00e9e par le cin\u00e9ma exp\u00e9rimental, elle poursuit son exploration de la lumi\u00e8re entam\u00e9e avec <em>Zanatenco <\/em>\u00e0 partir de prises de vue r\u00e9elles d\u2019espaces naturels. <em>Spinning Away<\/em>, version d\u00e9finitive d\u2019un film cor\u00e9alis\u00e9 avec Corentin Canesson et pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 en cin\u00e9-concert en 2024 \u00e0 la Maison des arts, est le jeu \u00e0 quatre mains de deux peintres dialoguant \u00e0 distance \u00e0 travers photographies et gestes picturaux.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\">Thomas Delamarre, 2025<br>Maison des arts Georges et Claude Pompidou, Cajarc <sup>FR<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><code>ENG<code>\u2014\u2014<\/code>\u2014<\/code> <br>Marine Wallon mainly works with oil on canvas. She paints landscapes while balancing on a delicate line between figurative and abstract art. Her paintings convey movement within the scenery, proposing a walk through it rather than mere contemplation. To achieve this, the artist has compiled a repertory of tools, far from academic, whose intrinsic qualities enable her to transcribe, on the canvas, the shaky contours of landscapes she discovers most often in films promoting tourism. A spatula, trowel, steel wool, a sponge or a piece of fabric are combined with a choreography of gestures unique to the artist, to place paint on the canvas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the exhibition at La Maison des Arts, Marine Wallon has produced an ensemble of new works, including the&nbsp;<em>Lontananza<\/em>&nbsp;series inspired by the phenomenon of the&nbsp;<em>fata morgana<\/em>, an optical mirage created by perturbation of light in the atmosphere. For the<em>&nbsp;<\/em><em>Zanatenco<\/em>&nbsp;diptych, she extends her portrayal of indescribable landscapes even further, reducing them to colourful, bright patches, rendered as imprints, when light, for example, seeps through the foliage of dense woodland. Finally, the exhibition provides the chance for Marine Wallon to present two films.
